President, CTO and Founder

Perry Stupp brings over 17 years of experience in the domains of Data Base optimization, performance analysis and capacity planning service delivery and software development to his role leading Solution Labs. At Solution Labs Perry leads company efforts to embed performance analysis and capacity planning expertise into the very DNA of the Solution Labs products. The direct result of Perry’s many years of “hands on” experience is the knowledge needed to ensure that not only are Solution Labs products technically elegant and highly functional, but also that they meet the critical real-world needs of a very diverse worldwide customer constituency. The result is “out of the box” value with the quickest possible results and the highest possible business value.

Prior to founding CFS and Solution Labs, in his previous roles at BMC Software, Perry worked hands-on with hundreds of BMC Performance Assurance customers worldwide, enabling them to realized the benefits of “best practices” Capacity Management. As a direct result of these myriad “real world” experiences, he authored and presented innumerable papers on how customers could optimize their investments in BMC Performance Assurance. Finally, he was founder of the BMC Performance Assurance Developers Connection Website community, (now BMC Developer Network) dedicated to building a shared, common experience base that could be used for the betterment of all customers worldwide.

Prior to BMC, Perry served as a technical consultant, spending significant time “in the trenches” in end-customer Infrastructure Engineering organizations. Perry was responsible for not only Unix System administration, but also spent way too much time cobbling together scripts, data sources, and reporting and graphing packages and technologies in order to try and deliver Capacity Management results.

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

At Solution Labs, David Wagner is extending his career-long dream of making technology as efficient as possible by helping customers optimize their performance and capacity. Dave uses his over 27 years of technology experience and background in performance analysis and optimization to lead Solution Labs Sales and Marketing efforts, and is responsible for growing a worldwide base of successful and satisfied customes

In his 11 years at BMC Software, Dave ran Solutions Marketing for areas including Data Center Automation (now Service Automation) and BMC Virtualization Solutions, delivering thought leadership via articles, interviews and a blog on capacity and virtualization. Dave ran Product Management and Marketing for the BMC Performance Assurance product line – responsible for growing the distributed solutions from $2M/year in sales in 1996, to an installed base representing over $500M in 2005, with over 1500 customers worldwide.

Previous efforts included leading Data General Enterprise Management efforts, responsible for ideation and delivery of the first graphical PC-based management console for Unix Servers and RAID storage arrays (progenitor to the EMC NaviSphere solution). Earlier, at Stratus Computer, he was a founding member and Secretary of the Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC) an industry standards organization dedicated to quantifying performance efficiency. In the early 1980’s, Dave spent 7 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, where in addition to be an OS Engineer, he created and delivered a series of advanced performance analysis and optimization courses to Digital’s largest customers.
